ARM allows a more flexible execution of memory operations than x86, increasing performance.

ARM is a RISC architecture, so address calculation often needs more instructions than on x86.

ARM has stronger requirements and than x86 and therefore x86 processors tend to be faster.

What is a key movation of hardware transactional memory?

Eliminate database software from complex systems, moving all functionality of transactional database systems to hardware.

Hardware tracks concurrent accesses (and performs rollback on conflict), reducing locking requirements and improving performance.
